Meet Ashley, our Easter kitten, who was rescued on Good Friday..

She was found in a building in the Bronx. The woman who found her, did everything right: she tried to find out if somebody in the building had lost a cat, she took it in to keep it safe, and then she posted for help. "I wasn't leaving that kitten outside for God knows what to happen to it," she told us. She was leaving the next day on a family vacation, too, but that did not stop her from trying to help.

Ashley the Easter kitten is around five months old and extremely friendly, particularly with children. She will be available after April 11, to give her time to recover from her spay operation, vaccinations and testing.
